Edges

Countertop edges

Your edge shapes how your countertop looks and feels. Every edge below is shown on 3 cm stone. Tap any edge to see it larger.

Some edges are included at no extra cost. Ask us which ones when you get your estimate.

Everyday

Classic edges

Clean, simple profiles that suit almost any kitchen or bath.

Eased

A clean square edge with lightly softened corners. Simple, modern and the most popular choice.

1/4 Round

The top corner is rounded with a soft, even curve over a flat edge face.

1/2 Bullnose

The top half of the edge is rounded over, with a flat face below and a square bottom. Gentle on elbows and easy to wipe.

Full Bullnose

Rounded top and bottom for a soft, traditional look with no sharp corners.

1/4 Bevel

A small 45° cut on the top corner that catches the light.

1/2 Bevel

A larger 45° cut across the top half of the edge for a bolder angle.

Decorative

Decorative edges

More detail for traditional, formal or rustic spaces.

Ogee

A classic S-curve: a rounded top shoulder that sweeps into a concave curve, over a flat bottom band.

French Ogee

A small lip at the top, a cove, a rounded bead through the middle and a full rounded belly that curves under.

Chiseled

A rough, hand-chipped edge with a natural rock-face look. Suits rustic kitchens.

Thick edges

Thick edges & islands

For a heavier look on islands and statement pieces.

Mitered

Two pieces joined at 45° so the edge looks like one thick slab, with the pattern wrapping over the corner.

Waterfall

The countertop turns down the end of the island and runs to the floor, with the pattern flowing over the corner.

Sandwich Laminate

Two layers of stone bonded together for a thicker edge. A fine line shows where the layers meet.
